Steampunk arts ‘n crafts

This entry is especially for people new to Steampunk who happen to stumble over or into this blog.

Getting a Steampunk outfit can be a bit of a hassle, especially if you are on a budget or do not want to spend a lot of money because you are only doing it part-time.

That would make a cool ad: “Part-time Steampunk wanted for concerts and scene events.”

Anyway, there is a lot of material available on the ætherweb, which will help the beginning Steampunk to get their gear together. Here’s an example:

Youtube is not the only site which offers practical advice, obviously.
There are many dedicated sites with at least some material on DIY Steampunk.  Just google it! Ebay, too, is a good source for vintage clothing and especially goggles often pop up at bargain prices.It may well take some effort and time online and off-line but a good Steampunk outfit does not need to be expensive.
